TELL US, WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU DO?
I’m the co-founder of company called GoodLives which aims to make mental health services accessible to all parts of the globe. We want to ensure people experience a hassle-free user journey in seeking help for their mental health problems. We’ve identified that many people do not know how to seek help, and we try to educate them about the therapeutic process and its advantages. We also map people to the right therapist, based on their requirements and expertise respectively. We also offer corporate solutions for employee wellness and raising awareness.
HOW DID YOU GET HERE?
My own personal experiences and journey of people close to me have put me in a spot where I am today. I’ve seen people close to me go through a lot of emotional problems and couldn’t seek help because of the taboo.
WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR? WHY IS THIS WORK IMPORTANT TO YOU?
I stand for de-stigmatizing therapy and making conversation about mental health normal. I don’t want people to go through everything alone as I understand that it is so difficult to fight everything on your own. Having someone to talk to is extremely important in this society where everyone is becoming so disconnected.

WHAT IMPACT ARE YOU MAKING?
We are making an impact on individual lives and trying to make people happier and healthier. Emotional well-being is an important part of self-care and we want people to look at mental health problems just as same as physical illness.
WHAT (OR WHO) INSPIRES YOU TO DO THIS WORK?
Although we are a self-motivated team, seeing a positive change in our clients’ emotional wellbeing is our biggest inspiration. Making a big difference in someone’s life is highly inspiring.
WHAT’S YOUR VISION, YOUR BIG DREAM FOR THE IMPACT YOU WANT TO MAKE?
De-stigmatizing therapy and making conversation about mental health normal. No one should have to suffer in silence because they couldn’t seek the right help. Helping people understand a good way to seek help is the level of awareness we want to spread.
WHAT CHALLENGES ARE YOU FACING?
Being a bootstrap startup, it becomes challenging to make people trust us with the services we are providing. Marketing a service associated with a taboo-ed topic is a major challenge.
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT THE WORK YOU’RE DOING?
First: Therapy doesn’t only involve just talking. It can be a mixture of many types of therapeutic processes that can involve music, expressive arts, counseling, etc. Non-medical ways can be very effective in treating mental health problems.
Second: Therapy is a time taking process, and relapses might happen, but it is important to seek help.
